Alexandre Gama A Giant In The Advertising World

After graduating college in 1981 with dreams of owning his own agency, Alexandre Gama got a job as a copywriter and Standard Ogilvy & Mather. His dreams didn't quite take off like a rocket but he performed well in his new role. He labored there for nine years before his big break came, as he was hired as a Creative Director at DM9 He performed so well there that he was later named as CEO of Young and Rubicam in 1996. After three years, he ventured off on his own, forming his own firm which he aptly named Neogama.

Neogama quickly became one of Brazil's hottest advertising agencies and even won a Cannes Film Festival Golden Lion its first year in operation. After many years of grinding away in a lowly position, Gama never gave up, and all these years later he is recognized as a giant in the industry.
